North Wales and Snowdonia are famed for their magical landscapes and generous array of attractions/activities.

The music festivals of North Wales are famed for offering world famous acts, working alongside local Welsh and British musicians put on a great show for all involved.

While many of the music festivals are suited to family groups, some would be more suitable for adult crowds. We have detailed some information below on some of the highlights among the North Wales and Snowdonia festival scene, giving you an idea of what choice there is and when it all starts kicking off!


 

Focus Wales: 12th to 14th May 2016

A music and arts festival that features over 200 bands, Focus Wales is a Wrexham based celebration that incorporates a wide music variety. Both national and international talents will be taking to the stages to wow crowds even before the summer kicks in. Find out more >

 


 

Gottwood: 9th  June to 12th June 2016

North Wales Bluegrass Festival: 30th June to 3rd July 2016

Bluegrass bands from America, Europe and Britain all descend to Betws Y Coed to play 8 concerts over 4 days, wowing festival goers from far and wide. The festival features a range of workshops and tuition opportunities that focus on Banjo, Fiddle, Bass and Guitar playing. Find out more >

 


 

Ymuno Festival: 1st to 4th July 2016

Dubbed a ‘little festival with a big heart’ Ymuno takes place at Bryn Ffanigl Ganol Farm near Abergele, North Wales. The sleepy meadow awakens for a few days of music, art and poetry. Glas Butter Beach Festival: 19th to 21st August 2016

Hosted in Abersoch, this festival has really started to make a name for itself through its excellent music range, paint fight and glorious coastal location. Festival No 6: 1st to 4th September 2016

Located in the Italianate village of Port Meirion, Festival Number 6 has made a name for itself as one of the most unique events in the UK.
