- There is a chargeable car park next to the Inn (subject to availability).
- Blue Badge Holders: free to park in the car park next to the Inn.
- Free Permit (subject to availability): Available from reception for Slate Quay car park, parking there without a ticket will result in a fine being issued so please come to us first.

By car

Once in Caernarfon:
- Follow signs for Victoria Dock (not the town centre)
- As you reach the docks (on your right), look straight ahead. Through the town walls, you’ll spot the Black Boy Inn.
- Park the car next to the swings and call in to see reception, we will help you with your parking options.

By rail

By sea. Stenaline, Irish Ferries.
Easily reached from Ireland via the port of Holyhead, and an excellent road network.
From Holyhead take the A55 leaving J9 (first exit after Britannia Bridge) onto the A487, following signs for Caernarfon.
Foot passengers, onward travel is available from Holyhead to Bangor by train and takes 30 minutes, and then Bangor to Caernarfon by bus 20 minutes.
