It’s nearly that time again! I know it comes around all too quickly and yet it brings a smile to all of our faces in that coldest time of year when it is much needed. The winter solstice would have been celebrated in our lands as far back history allows us to see, and over the years this celebration has changed into something that we can all enjoy with our friends, family or that special someone.

The Black Boy Inn is also an award-winning pub and restaurant, serving high-quality, freshly cooked meals – check out our Christmas menu on the website to check out what you fancy. This is an excellent option for office and family Christmas meals, where we do all of the hard work of the mammoth task of cooking. Leaving you to sit and relax, sip on one of our many cask ales or a glass of wine, and embrace the Christmas spirit flowing through the building.
Activities Abound
If you need some inspiration for the kind of trips that you can indulge in while in North Wales, have you considered the Santa Train and Grotto where you can view the magnificence of the Snowdonia countryside with a magic twist, or Bounce Below which is fantastic if you are a part of a family that needs to blow off some steam? If it’s a quieter trip that you are after then why not set out on a calm and serene trip to one of the nearby beaches? Dinas Dinlle makes for a peaceful walk, and when the tide is out, there are swathes of sandy beach stretching out before you to explore to your heart’s content.

This means that you have all of the most exciting spots in North Wales at your fingertip, hop in the car and off you go, there are even plenty of rainy day walks to go at, if the weather isn’t on your side.
Black Boy Inn has also taken steps to make sure they are one step ahead of the curve when it comes to the environment too! We have electric car chargers, which means we are the perfect location for those who are coming from further afield and need somewhere to stay that will allow them to charge their cars.
