This Christmas we can look forward to an array of events to attend, all of which are fantastic for all the family including the little ones. Starting close to home, Penrhyn Castle is holding a Christmas Concert with North Wales Rugby Choir on Friday 4th December between 7pm – 10pm.
You can join the North Wales Rugby Choir with their festive concert which will be taking place in the grandeur of Penrhyn Castle’s Grand Hall. There will be an eclectic performance of classical and popular music, both in English and Welsh. Booking is essential and be sure to book today to avoid disappointment.
In addition to the beautiful voices of the Rugby Choir, Penrhyn Castle also has a weekend of festivities to look forward to on 12th & 13th December between 12pm – 3pm. You can explore the sitting rooms and Grand Hall at the castle, which will be dressed for a Victorian Christmas. Discover how tables were set back in the day, their Christmas traditions, but also share your own.
For young families there will be family-fun activities throughout both days, with the chance to see the jolly man himself – Father Christmas. Tickets cost £5 per child if they wish to pay Father Christmas a visit and share with him their ‘wish list’.
As the festive season creeps up on us day by day, many of us are eagerly awaiting the day when we can start dressing our trees to our heart’s content. Once the 1st December is done and dusted and your tree is sitting pretty in your home, you can visit Bodnant Garden for even more Christmas Tree fun.
On 6th December Bodnant Garden in Conwy, a leisurely thirty minute drive away, is holding a Tree Dressing Day. During 11am – 3pm you can make a simple decoration from various natural materials to then hang on their tree, plus find out about all the amazing varieties of trees at Bodnant Garden.
