Christmas Events in North Wales 2021

It’s that time of year again! Check out this selection of magical Christmas Events in North Wales, 2021.

Enchanted Lodge at Greenwood Family Park

Join GreenWood for a magical, and festive experience for the whole family in their enchanted lodge. Come in from the cold and into our enchanted lodge for a magical festive 2-hour experience. Be immersed in an extraordinary festive show. Tuck into a festive feast with Santa Claus and get creative with the craft-loving elves. Also, allow the kids to run wild and to burn some excitement while running around in the magical soft play area. The price of this experience is £15 per child and £7 per adult. Kids under 6 months go free.

Santa Trains at Welsh Highland Railway

Full steam ahead into Christmas. Welsh Highland Railway are delighted to be offering a variety of festive fun this November and December! Santa will be visiting the railway over the festive period as they run the Santa Specials between Caernarfon Station and Rhyd Ddu. This means you can witness the winter beauty of Snowdonia with your own two eyes while on a wondrous journey of festive magic.

There’s also the Christmas Carriage Grotto and the Christmas Cwellyn trips!

Christmas at Llechwedd – 29th November to the 24th of December

Enjoy a magical and creative experience like no other, meet Santa on the incredible underground Christmas Grotto. Here, you can grab a complimentary mince pie, hot chocolate and even some mulled wine for the grown-ups! The elves will be waiting to take the whole family on the cable railway where you will delve deep underground to the famous, victorian Llechwedd slate mine.

Christmas at Bodnant Gardens

Bodnant is a fantastic choice to visit every year. Bodnant has 80 acres of winter wonderland which is perfect for the entire family to properly enjoy the great outdoors. It allows them to see all sorts of plants in the winter season. It makes for a spectacular view in the winter season when everything is covered in snow – even the tops of the mountains glisten in a white shimmer in the colder months of the year. It’s times like that when the spectacular view of the Conwy valley shines through! Dogs are welcome.

Reindeer Lodge Drive Through, Mold

This amazing adventure will see you magically transported to Lapland (without leaving north wales). Elves are busy creating an unforgettable immersive drive-through experience that will indulge children’s and adults’ imaginations alike! There is a drive-in theatre show, over 1.3km of Christmas lighting trails which are surrounded by herds of reindeer along with some stunning countryside, a magical woodland, a hidden elf village and a toy workshop. It’s the ideal Christmas jaunt.

Llandudno 5k Santa Run

Join other Santas running along the gorgeous Victorian seafront of the town of Llandudno. The event is a 5K run and is a great option for those looking for a feel-good and healthy event this festive season. Why not participate in a 5K run?

Llandudno Christmas Extravaganza

The extravaganza is back – this time with a sprinkling of Christmas magic. Taking place between the 18th of November and the 21st of November in 2021.All the fun of the Victorian Extravaganza, but in the depths of winter – perfect for warming up by strolling around and seeing the sites and curiosities while sipping on a hot coffee or some mulled wine!
